Inaugural Singapore Yacht Show hailed a success
The inaugural Singapore Yacht Show has been hailed a success. The three day super yacht event in South East Asia event attracted more than 3,000 guests and optimised the potential for greater regional growth for the industry.
For those thousands of guests in attendance, they were able to connect with the luxury yacht designers and creators from roughly 30 various international builders, brokers and suppliers who showcased their success at the East Asia platform, in addition to basking in the luxury of great car deals, real estate and entertainment.
“We are very excited and pleased to be here,” said Jeff Partin, Sales Broker at Fraser Yachts, Florida. “We are very excited and pleased to be here. I think the Singapore Yacht Show has been very thoughtfully organised for an inaugural show and I can’t wait to come back next year.”
General Manager of Simpson Marine, Paul Whelan, was just as enthusiastic, “The inaugural Singapore Yacht Show totally exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed not only by the number of visitors who attended the show but also the diversity and quality. This rare combination provided us with many good leads and potential sales for not only our Superyachts but also for our Charter Division.”
With such success, the team at Singapore Yacht Show and organisers Informa Yacht Group were pleased to announce not only the major success of the yacht show but plans for next year. “All the team, including our partners, sponsors and exhibitors have worked hard and collaboratively to make this a successful show for all,” commented Andy Treadwell, Managing Director at Informa Yacht Group. “We are already working towards 2012 and we have great plans for a show to really impress!”
The yacht show wasn’t just offering guests a sneak peak at this year’s yachts but whetting their appetite with glamorous events like the gala dinner held at Capella Hotel, luxury car deals and more.
